Do the republicans think they will save money in the long run by cutting planned parenthood?

Are they seriously that dense? Or are they also planning on cutting out all forms of welfare with it? I am at a loss how they think taking away free birth control will save money. The women who use free birth control obviously can't afford $20 a month for some pills, so how can they afford a child which cost the government way more than some cheapass birth control pills. I am just wondering what their logic is thinking they will save money by cutting planned parenthood. Are they really that stupid? Sorry... I am just angry because me, my husband and my son and stepdaughter are "planning" on going to Yellowstone Next month which may or may not be affected, but all this is over some freaking birth control? I am confused about this shutdown.
