Lewis and Clark expedition discoveries?

The expedition began in St. Louis and proceeded north along the Missouri to the Mandan Village and from there to the Great Falls. The boat could not go further, and the expedition then penetrated Western Montana and Idaho, where it encountered the Snake. It almost came apart in the Bitterroot mountains when Sacagaweja ran into her brother, who took everyone in. Eventually, the party moved down the Columbia to the Pacific Ocean. On the way back, the party took the Yellowstone from Three Forks, and one part of it found what now is Yellowstone National Park. The expedition then returned to St. Louis after a fight with a band of Blackfeet Indians.
