Tips for YellowStone natiional park?

I plan to visit yellowstone national park this year. Trip will be around 3-4 days. I would like to know where to stay, Which parts to visit(considering it is a short visit). Please comment from personal experience if possible. I have researched on the web and visited most websites already.
