My 16 year old friend acts like he's 9. Is he ok?

I have a friend who is 16 and he has a girlfriend on runescape who he will almost certainly never meet, worries about yellowstone erupting and killing us all, and still watches cartoon network. He's a good guy but I'm slightly worried about him.
