What do I need to know about staying in Yellowstone Nat'l Park?

I want to camp out in Yellowstone for a week, but I don't know anything about that part of the states. I'll be taking a bus from Portland, but I don't know which city, entrance or even state I should go to. Any recommendations? Any keywords I should look up?
