POLL: I'm afraid to go on vacation?

My family is forcing me to go on vacation to California, Nevada, and Arizona this summer, but I'm really scared about the yellowstone supervolcano erupting. It's supposed to wipe out 2/3 of the U.S. Why would they want to risk their lives just to go on a stupid vacation?? If it does, my whole family will surely die...How can I convince them to not go? I just want to stay safe in Connecticut...:( It's really frustrating because no one in my family takes me seriously and they don't care what I think. I don't think it's fair that I'm going to spend the whole time there worrying about mass destruction and dying. Last summer, we went to Maine, and my dad forced me to go jet skiing even though there were TWELVE great white shark sitings! How do I stop getting paranoid over vacations?
