YellowStone National Park?

Yellowstone National Park is a bit of a drive-through with large mammals such as buffalo, elk, and bears among volcanic hot springs, geisers, and sulfurous pools. Yellowstone is a plateau covered in lodgepole pine trees, one-third burned in the great Yellowstone fire of 1987. Immediately south of Yellowstone is Grand Teton National Park, which is less occupied by tourists. I recommend hiking up the valleys north of the Grand Teton. On the west side of Jenny Lake are beautiful blue waterfalls and hiking trails that are about 25 miles in length, 6,000 vertical feet, and covered in dense growth. Moose, grizzly bears, mule deer, and yellow-bellied marmots are a few of my close encounters in the Tetons.
